Application to check update server of software while it is updating

Hello guys,

Waiting for a long time for this type of software. For example for certain softwares, standalone update isnt available. In such a case we are forced to use the update option inside the application and update it. So i need a software which can sniff the details of the server/url from where it is getting updated. In simple terms it should monitor the update activity and give a report.

Please help me guys...

Sorry but this isnt what i require... I require a software which will allow me to identify from which URL the application is updated. For example, take virus definitions. There are two modes to update virus signatures in certain AVs. One is live update and the other one is offline update. During a live update, the signature files get downloaded directly to a temporary folder and embedded into the registry. If the AV is uninstalled, the same live update has to be performed to get the updated signatures. So the offline update is the best.

Likewise for certain applications, though the update gets downloaded in temporary folder and it is identifiable, it gets immediately erased when the update starts to run.. For the same reason i require such a software...
