Hello guys i bought a coolermaster hyper 212+ .

Ill apply the thermal compound on CPU using Finger spread method,

i want to know that do i need to apply a thin layer on coolermaster hyper 212+ base also?

Also i forgot to order thermal paste, for now ill use the provided thermal paste,Would Tuniq TX2 good enough? Where can i buy it cheapest shipped.I need it Urgent. If any member can buy at his place n ship that wud be gr8.

drop a blob of the thermal paste in the middle of ur cpu and the usea visiting card to spread it evenly over the cpu.

also use a thermal paste other than coolermaster's own thermal paste---its rubbish.

you can order a thermal solution from prime abgb or lynx-india

www.primeabgb.com

www.lynx-india.com

tx-2 costs about 150rs.

Installed CM Hyper 212+ , OC @ 3.9Ghz @1.425V. Using Provided Thermal Paste.
Temp are
Idle : Tempin0=29 Core=23
Load: Tempin0=46 Core=35
Its pretty Cold in North India.:bleh:

Guys cant find tuniq tx-2 for 150/- anywhere
Lynxindia = 215 +Tax +Shipping= Approx 300/-
Primeabgb 200 + Shipping(150 minimum)=350/-:@

okay forget finger swipe - check the manufacturers website or google to know exactly how to apply the paste. Too much is as bad as too little and temp
s can go haywire.

As for TX2 - i prefer gelid GC1 - get it from Lynx - recommeded by me instead of TX2. Google it for info and comparision with TX2.

PS: Basically most econo packages are same but prices vary - IMO Gelid GC1 cuts the cake and takes it home too.
