Hi,
I am having trouble installing a few packages since I am behind a proxy. I am using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. So far i have made the necessary changes using the GUI for GNOME settings as well as in the Synaptic Interface. Still i get the error
407 Proxy Authentication required.
I also added the following lines
export http_proxy=http://username
assword@proxyserver.netort/
export ftp_proxy=http://usernameassword@proxyserver.netport/
to my .bashrc file
Still getting the same error when i use apt-get
Any solutions to this problem?
