So Archos introduces a 8" tablet with 1.5GHz dual Core OMAP with a 250GB 7mm HDD priced @ $279 :ohyeah: I want one already.

French company Archos today announced two new affordable Android 3.1 tablets. Dubbed as 80 G9 and 101 G9, These tablets will be available around the end of September.

Featuring 1.5 GHz OMAP 4 Dual core processor, these tablets come in 8 inch and 10.1 inch display sizes.

250 GB internal memory or 16 GB flash memory + Micro SD slot

LOVELY!!!

The price seems to good to be true. Hope this product is of some decent quality and ends up being the ZTE Blade of tablets. Though Archos don't seem to have very good track record and the custom rom scene is almost non-existent.
