Hi,
Iphones are available at a very low price in grey market, obv without bill. I want to ask are there any warranty issues with them? Apple service centre never asks for the bill and the the grey market iphones show warranty online. The service centre people cannot find out if that piece is an imported piece?? Because imported pieces dont have indian warranty, so that is why confused whether it is worth buying from grey market or not?

Nope. Apple reseller don't accept them but you can open the case with Apple USA and they can help you to get phone serviced in India but for checking warranty they will check phone's serial number not your bill of purchase. Usually most of the grey market phones are few months old so you may miss few months of warranty

1. Anyone can easily find out whether its imported or not
2. If the iPhone is Indian, then it will be accepted at Apple Service Center, whether it was bought from grey market or not doesn't matter

That is the question whether apple service centre can find out or not whether the phone is indian or not?

My friend recently got his i5 replaced at Hyderabad Aptronix which was bought from Ebay.com, They didn't ask him anything but he only insisted to check the bill.
They told it will take nearly 10 days to get it replaced. Took more than 3 weeks though.

Yep,They can easily identify whether it was imported or Indian one.
