I am planning to buy hp 10.1 inches mini 210 netbook for its promising price and aesthetics. I am worried about the 10 inches screen and small keyboard tho, my question to the netbooks users, is it comfortable working with it? I will be using it for surfing net and maybe installing linux and do some programming in it. Or should i consider something else? thanks for suggestions.

Based on what tools you will be using for programming, netbook may or may not be suitable for you. If it is plain old C/C++ or basic Java without using a full-fledged IDE like Eclipse/Netbeans, netbook would serve you well. I am myself using a netbook for some PHP-based applications using Notepad++ and the small screen size is not a big concern for me. But for IDEs, 10.1 screen size will be a bit too small - not to mention it will run slow-ish.
