well...a day back i had a trojan attack on my pc n somehow i have managed to remove it...it seems so..
But i had to install n uninstall plenty of apps in this process of removal:@ ....so
leftovers of these apps have crapped up my registry and system folders.
Though is isnt affecting overall speed of my system but i still wish to get rid of these.

So i started my quest for a good n reliable registry cleaner.
Heres a list of some i could possibly find having good reviews:
*Registry mechanic 7
*Reg cleaner 4.1
*cc cleaner
*ashampoo win optimizer

But even after all this i still am hesitant to install them coz most of them have no feedback on what they are doing to the registry...
So,i want ur opinion guys ...are these are any good ....do they really help to boost system startup and performance?

i have been using easy cleaner for a long time.. and no problems so far..improvements in speed aren't that visible though. in case it deletes a required entry it has a restore option so its pretty safe too.

Give jv16 power-tools a try ! I bet you wont be disappointed!

Although, the improvement in performance is not clearly visible, its still a good idea to keep your registry clean!

yes, use registry mechanic.
will increase the performance of your pc.

back up your registry before you use.

manually editing the registry will be good too.

Tried registry mechanic 7. It deleted lot of entries, also used the "compact and optimize" feature.

It seems pretty good.

Hope it doesnt have any side effects :P

i use ccleaner and ashampoo winoptimiser :)

winoptimiser has a lot of other cool power toys...

also dudes... try out tuneXP, its ultra-fast booting absolutely rox
