Not sure if this is something you would like to do but places such as exhibitions etc need people for short term hire..usually 1-2 days. I've heard of people being paid 2-3k per day for standing in a booth and explaining the products features.

afaik no.

May be high quality blogging, selling on eBay (selling imported stuff), Youtube channels etc come to my mind. If you have some good idea of mobile apps or web apps (SaaS), you can have it developed for cheap and sell it.

blogging needs a lot of initial time to set up gte some content fillled etc. before they start paying. would be too tim consuming and no payment surety. importing stuff etc. is another big hassle .thats why im preferring a offline job.

well the pay is higher, thats why it takes time to set up etc. And you don't have to depend on anyone or go out of home on weekends.

What does "high quality blogging" means? Just wondering.

blogs which serve niche content, well researched and well written articles. Articles should be original, no copy paste or no taking inspiration from other blogs/posts.

Makes sense. Though I am sure taking inspiration is not so bad idea, until you don't copy everything verbatim. Btw I don't think getting mobile apps/web apps will be cheap for op. One of my friends was searching for one dev for his ios app and he always got quotes more than 1k.

no, first to publish something good always gets more views and thus ranks higher in google, bringing more money.

however you could do this also, like making a noob friendly tutorial of something difficult tutorial.

1k is not cheap? :O

USD not INR. Missed clarifying earlier.

PS: Whats with the hackernews type quotes?

I was typing from mobile, BB Code is not so friendly on mobile compared to markdown

The price of app depends on what kind of app it is. You can have simple apps developed in 10k-20k. Check freelancing sites.

i cant invest 10k on apps and stuff. too risky . fast food chain is ok but only if im not the delivery guy or server and there's no other job i think i can do i guess. could cook like a Mcd burger or something but i guess they take trained ppl for that

Even m looking for a weekend job but not finding suitable options. Would love to work online but now its too risky to invest in any such sites offering money for doing copy paste, surveys or dtp work as most are fake and disappear once they catch hold of sufficient customers....remember Speakasia?

So only viable guaranteed income jobs are the physical one which have already been mentioned here. You can also act a consultant, freelance engineer, advisor, plumber, electrician, coach/teacher
and so on.

+1. If you are in Delhi you can go to Pragati Maiden during expos. They hire people regularly. But you have to personally go there and apply for it since people fight for the slots.[DOUBLEPOST=1427204685][/DOUBLEPOST]
You even have an option of part time employee at fast food chains. Check your franchisee in your area.
Something like this used to pay 500-600rs a day. A had a friend who used to work in a mall here during the vacation. Also got to take home all the leftovers of the day Damn. >_>
I think that the pay and rewards of lesser-fancy restaurants/less popular fast food chains will pay lower.
