Storage Solutions Are these HDD prices good?

I was given the following prices at STech Computers in Pune today -

External HDD
Maxtor 500GB - 3700/-
Seagate 500GB - 4200/-

Portable HDD
WD Essential 320GB - 4300/-
WD Essential 500GB - 6500/-

Guys, are these prices competitive?

Also asked for the Asus Eee PC 1000H which I was told is for 21.5K. Good Price?
Should I go to Lamington?

shit man..nice prices..lat i saw a 500gb hdd in cal was for 5.5k...

My opinion of Seagate is useless..ive seen 4 of them crash in front of me..mabe im the bad luck lol..

about the Eee PC..try to get a second hand lappy instead coz the eee pc really cant do much...waste of money..

You can do better

For example, I picked up a seagate external 500Gb on Sat for 4k in Pune. PM me if u want dealer details. Helps that hes my regular dealer of course
