Are these the best laptops under 25-27 k range?

Hi All,

Have got an approval for 25 k budget for a laptop and about 35 K for a desktop ( will post desktop inthe other section) meanwhile....spec wise is this the best option under 25-28K

Here's the questionnaire:

  • What's your Budget? (e.g. >30K, not more than 50K etc.)

25K ( can be stretched to 28k , considering some decent performance difference)
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? (e.g. web surfing/office apps/Casual Gaming)

Giving it to dad , so casual gaming ( yes you read it right) , web surfing , lots of youtubing Photshop and basic video editing and general office work
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between)

13.3 inch - 14.1 inch ( simply because it might help the Battery cause.

  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)

doesnt matter...... what matters to me is the best post sales support and service. Im in Mumbai
  • Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)

Battery Life 3-4 hours under normal use. glossy or matte, doesnt matter, il be using laptop skin

But let still ultimately state , that

1) need the best performance laptop under 25k - 28k budget

2) can compromise on the screen size for better performance and battery life.

3) After sales support should not become pain in the wrong place.

There is a difference between ebay and flipkart.

Ebay is market place which facilitates ease of buying ( like a mega mall with multiple brands and stores ) where as flipkart is online mega store.... ( may be like a Croma / Vijay sales)

Im an active seller as well as buyer on ebay .......

and can confirm that you as a buyer are protected in more than one way if you have purchased any item from ebay. You can claim that you have not received the item or not received as desribed....also the seller is stipulated to ship within a certain time.

Check the Buyers rating before buying....if shipping time is rated low ,its ok ...cuz its usually due to low inventory etc.

speak to buyer if you have any doubts.

about flipkart, its built brand name by putting its focus around customer service etc. Have bought many items ( mostly under 5K items) from flipkart...have never really faced anymajor issues.

Your only problem will be if the item has issues OOB , and to arrange for reverse pick up or ship it back to them

Anyway back to my Original Post.....more suggestions needed please....best lappie under 25 k
