Well, you're reading a computing publication on the internet, so chances are that you know the answer to that question already.
The BBC, however, has an interesting survey up, which checks proper knowledge of some basic technical terms. Some of the alternatives are so blindingly silly that only the correct one makes sense, but my nan had problems completing it with more than 50%, so it must be worth something to the uninitiated.
