Since we had recently moved to a new setup, it took us some time to setup the basics on posting permissions and handling articles using the tools available in this platform. Here is how it should be done.
Recently a few members were not satisfied with the way we had been handling credits in articles so we have decided to amend a rule that was in place ever since TE was born. You can now put up a non-obstructing watermark in the corner of your images and a link to your site at the end of the article in credits, even if the site is commercial in nature. Provided it adheres to the following guidelines.
Happy posting!
PS: If you think we have overlooked something then feel free to PM me about it.
- You can post and prepare your article in the drafts section. When you are finished just update with a new post. One of us will review it and move it to the appropriate section.
- The articles that you submit must be your own work.
- Please do not copy paste articles from word processors like MS Office or Onenote or it might lead to formatting issues.
- Ensure that your article is properly organized and provides some value to the reader.
- An article will typically undergo review to ensure that all the guidelines are being followed so it may take some time to appear on the forum.
- We reserve the right to promote an article to the portal. There are no specific guidelines for that but any content on the portal has to be exclusive to TE for at least a month.

- Your article should not contain affiliate links.
- You need to post the entire article on TE instead of just a teaser with a "read more on this site" type of link
- Do not promote other websites by adding URLs into the article summary or the article body areas. You can however mention your own site at the end of the article as credits.
- Since we are now open to links to commercial sites at the end of the article as credits, please ensure that the articles that you submit should not be blatant advertising of yourself or your Company. It should have some value to the reader.
