CPU/Mobo Asrock motherboard not saving bios changes and system date

So I got a new Asrcok x570 Phantom Gaming board in Feb or March of this year and it never used to save the bios changes or the system date. I installed a new CMOS battery a few weeks ago but it still didn't rectify the problem.
Anyone has any ideas what might be the issue? I really need it to be working so I can over clock or under clock. Should I get it rmaed?

Yeah, get it rma'd. It's may have faulty bios chip.
Yes, and maybe don't mention changing the CMOS battery and switch to the default one. They might try to put this on you.

Try asking for a replacement, as repairing the CMOS might take some time, as they probably won't have spare readily available.
