Yes Kumar it does support the Xbox 360 controller.Infact the readme says that only the Xbox 360 controller has the vibration feature.No wonder I didn't feel any vibration on my controller albeit fiddling around with so many settings.But I am happy it accepted a standard controller.:)

The game with a controller is anyday better compared to mouse+keyboard combination.With a Keyboard,there are many keys which are mapped wierdly.Hence it becomes a bit difficult to keep a tab of all of them at once.Controller has everything pre-adjusted which makes the job more easier.The wall jumps & assasinations are better performed with the controller.But the bottom line is the game is meant to be played with a controller.:ohyeah:

gabe newell actually admitted he was lying about the september release date. that was long after hl2 released though.

it wasn't a valve leak for sure. at the very least, the alpha proved how far from complete the game was, and that reality was very different from what valve had been claiming uptil that point. are you implying they leaked the code to make themselves look foolish and proven liars?

doubt if anyone will even remember the game next year,palying the leaked version was an underwhelming experience to say the least and if it were not for the horse rides and the huge draw distance the graphics were so-so too.

As you know the jerusalem.forge isnt corrupt its coded.

Ubisoft brought this stuff out to the open to determine who is th weak link- who supplies warez.

And here is how you can “decode” the .forges:

- U have to modify the SETUP.INI on the dvd from: “ShowPasswordDialog=N” to: “ShowPasswordDialog=Y”

- after this reinstall, it will ask for a CODE!

- the code for the spanish version is: UBIAC10-001 -but this wont work on our reloaded or clonedvd ones.

I hope i could help you guys and maybe someone here could supply the right code for us.

Found this on the net will surely try this after downloading the game, current speed 4kbps :S
 
Pls dont relate this with hl-2, the beta was released like 1yr before the original release and it had no signs of completion neither on PC nor on consoles !

As for Assassin's creed .... the game production is complete and released on consoles... the only thing left is coding it to work on PC ! We all agree that technical problems on a computer is more then consoles but still its not that tough either !

BTW, this is valid leak the game is set to release in march and leaked in feb, unlike hl-2 alpha, beta !

I have not reached the Jerusalem level yet.Will let you know once I get there but I have a good feeling,like everyone else,my copy isn't special so my Altair would crash too.:(

As for this thread being legal or not - god knows! This game ain't even released yet! :)

Am downloading @ 70kbps. Better tracker over the 'bay apparently. :D

Anyway, I guess as long as people are not posting links to the pirated software and not discussing about methods to pirate a software, the thread stays legit.
 
Agreed.Be sure not to push the boundary too far.We have got enough discussion rights but please don't take it for granted.As long as we stick to discussing the performance & it's gameplay conversations then it would be healthy.:)
 
the problem was with vegeta posting a rs.com linky to the fix for the jeruselam thingy...

guess mods have fixed it now :)
