Ubisoft has managed to create a successful series this generation with Assassin’s Creed, releasing new entries of the series each year. The AC games for this year is going to be Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, a game that’s going to introduce a lot of new gameplay features into the series. The game is also going to be the first Assassin’s Creed entry of the next console generation, getting released on Ps4 and on the yet to be detailed new Microsoft Console.
It looks like Ubisoft may have had some more AC games in the pipe, judging by some concept art that surfaced today. According to a portfolio belonging to Benoit Perrault, Ubisoft was going to work on an Assassin’s Creed fighting game called Assassin’s Creed Duel.
The game was listed for a PSN and XBLA release, a 2.5D fighter featuring many of the series characters, including Desmond Miles, Ezio Auditore and Altair as well as character from outside the series, like Rayman, the Prince Of Persia, the Rabbids and a few other characters from other Ubisoft games. However it looks like the project never went beyond these images, according to the portfolio. You can take a look at these images below.
