Jokes aside, I can't wait for ubsoft to make the black panther game and make the lead characters White and Asian :relieved:

Edit: Ghost Of Tsushima PC just came out lol.

Their really was a black samurai so i don't think its diversity addition more like a bonus for them,

Well, some sources say he was a slave, some say he was a retainer. We don't know for sure what he was.
I feel like he was a retainer, but being a retainer doesn't make you a samurai. It's like saying you are a Knight if you have a sword.

They definitely saw the Netflix anime and were salivating hard.

A retainer is a samurai who provides military service to a daimyo ,samurai was a class not all of them were full time warriors most were farmers who owned land

Sure, samurais were retainers, but that doesn't mean all retainers were samurais.
Samurais were nobility, and I doubt they made a black dude nobility in 1581 Japan.

I think the chick is the main playable character, and you will probably get to play as the black dude for a few missions, maybe.

Honestly it's a game franchise where we had da vanci build us a tank lmao, the historical accuracy with the story itself was something I never bothered with, always been the gameplay and environment for me.

Can't really say I'm feeling wowed yet. Will have to wait for those half an hour showcases they do for their games. Probably has to do with the fact that I'm yet to finish sekiro, and recently saw vids ghost of tsushima on pc too

Plus the game’s launching day 1 on iPad and macOS. Great to see Ubi leading the way. Good to have more platforms. I really hope the next Apple TV comes with a “Pro” model that has the M-series chops to play demanding titles.
 
Waiting for the day when Modern Ubisoft puts out a single-player AAA experience that isn't soulless, bloated and lobotomized by corporate creative interference. Far Cry, Immortals, Watch Dogs, AC, Skull and Bones, Ghost Recon, Avatar - all suffer from it. The stunning worlds they craft deserve better.

Their best games over the past decade imo - the Rayman games, the South Parks, the Lost Crown.
