Hi all,

I found a used canon 30d body. It undergone around 15k shutter actuations and its eyecup is missing as stated by the seller. It is 2 years old. can somebody tell me how much I should pay for that.

I also considering a new canon 450d, I am in coufusion that for which one I should go for. Please help me.

Unless you can get the 30D for under 20K, it doesn't make much sense. A better option would be to get the 500D or the 550D (the 450D is EOL - old stocks may be available). If you're budget limited, the 1000D is available for 21Kish with kit lens and canon warranty.

I dunno. Personally I would get a 30D over a 550D even. :)

But thats me. I prefer better ergonomics with a better viewfinder over high ISO performance. The Canon Rebel series have a dull pentaprism viewfinder and a rather small grip. I tried a 40D and came back impressed with the grip, ergonomics and the viewfinder.

The 30D is similar to the 40D but it has less megapixels and its not too good at high ISO like modern sensors. But high ISO will come into play only in maybe 1 out of every 50 snaps while a good viewfinder and better ergonomics will come into play everytime you use a camera.

I guess the one you are talking about had quoted the price of 18k,...

decent price..

try to bargain it upto 16k... will be better...

exactly ashvarybabul, I think you read that post in some forum. But I am a newbie in this dslr world and I personally dont know about the seller, only contacted him through mail. I am in lot of confusion.
