Asus i7 laptop

Hi guys,

I am looking for a decent laptop for my bro and came across this beast. It has got amazing specs and great user feedback. Its got 2 yrs international warranty as well (default for asus laptops). So thought of sharing this deal with you people.

I see quite a few people looking for i5 laptops so if we all come together, buygamingstuff may be able to procure this model directly for asus/taiwan. I have already pmed him and waiting for his reply. This thread is just to check interest and i dont know whether this deal will even go through or not.

as the lappy is for my bro, interest is in core i7, GPU is bonus at that price. Alienware is too pricey.

I am also thinking of buying a asus laptop ...i decided the UL80jt....battery life is not gud on either XPS16 or any i720QM afaik.........kmd way would be very costly....so searching for US links

I do not think the acer 5740G is a 800 when compared to the model suggested above.

The Acer 5740 G will come to around 43k at the max. Specs are awesome though expecially the ATI 5650 1GB along with the Core i5. And warranty would be one year international. Build quality is good as my room mate is using the 4738G for a year now.

I would suggest that you guys for Asus Laptops as they give International Warranty for one year which is a very good thing .. not sure about Acer.
