Laptops Asus k53sv screen quality bad

Hello guys,

I took Asus k53sv-sx520v after hearing that its very good and was expecting it would be great deal but it turned out to be disappointing....the screen quality is bad...its blurry in everything. I shud have taken HP or Sony. I will never recommend ASUS laptop to anyone.
 
I've seen the laptop myself and didn't find the screen quality to be as bad as you're saying..

Check if the screen is set to the native resolution or not.
 
Then i would suggest you to check another unit of the same laptop in some shop and see the display quality! Maybe the one in your laptop is faulty or something
 
Got this"Asus K Series K53SC-SX196R" today from nehru place for a friend of mine.​

And i used it for couple of hours did not find any screen issues.​

Try re installing the drivers of the gfx card...​
 
Bought it for my friend. Everything is perfectly fine. No issues with the screen or any thing else. Check the GFX card drivers
 
K53sv screen blurry?

Bro i am using it for the past 4 months.Maybe you are running it on "Power for Saving" option.Turn it to "Entertainment"
 
i tried some hd wallpapers they seems fine...it took this laptop for movies viewing but 720p hd movies are coming blurry. wat shud i do to make it better ?

Ill tell you the exact settings after i reach home .till then you keep on fidgeting with it ,am sure you will understand.

the problem is the GT540m settings which need to be done and is a vexing work.
 
Mine is K53TA, which has same screen and body design. I find the screen much better than dell inspiron same resolution screens. Maybe you have got some manufacturer defected product. Confirm it and apply for rma.
