CPU/Mobo Asus K8N - Boot device quick menu?

Hi everyone. I had an Asus A7V on which, tapping Escape key once, while the system was booting, displayed a menu of boot devices. That was very handy for an odd, once in a while boot off the cd, instead of going all the way through the BIOS setup menu. Now with an Asus K8N, Im unable to do the same.Or is it because A7V had an Award bios and K8N has AMI?

Does K8N/AMIBIOS have such a 'quick menu' for boot device selection?

my kryton nf2 has the quick menu on pressing f9. This option is mentioned on the 1st bios screen. Look carefully.

On my ASUS K8N-E deluxe, pressing F8 while booting brings up the boot-device selection screen. Hope this helps!
