CPU/Mobo Asus K8N-VM socket 754 with PCI-E

Just in case someone is looking for a 754 socket board with PCI-E and needs this info, i just bought an Asus K8N-VM motherboard in Chennai from Delta Peripherals for Rs. 3800. I don't know how it performs as yet... i'll post after a week i guess.
 
Hi, Kewl! I found the prices for you today...almsot the same rates. We were in Delta too today (me and freaky), say from 4pm to like 7pm or so.

hey i was there at the same time.. were you the one talking to the shop guy about DFI and Transcend by any chance?
 
haha yea i am. anyway that shop seems to be the best one i've come across so far. they seemed to have had almost everything i asked about. makes me wanna upgrade my entire rig :P btw just out of curiosity.. what are your computer specs and what do you mainly use it for?

Athlon XP 2800+ Barton

ASUS A7N8X - E Delux

512MB ram

80GB SATA Samsung hdd

15" Samsung (6years old)

Mercury 440W Speakers of which im running only 1 (6years old)

NEC 4551 DVD Writer

KHypermedia CD Writer

TVS 500VA UPS (6years old)

Some keyboard, mouse

Hope that was detailed enough. Getting a 3000+ soon though. As soon as i decide on the damn motherboard :grr:
