Asus FonePad which was announced at MWC is now launched in India for Rs 15,999.
The Asus FonePad is a 7 inch slate that doubles up as a phone. It has SIM card slot with 3G data and voice calls support.
It is powered by Intel Atom Z2420 processor which has single core clocked at 1.2GHz with hyper threading. The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and Android 4.2 update will be coming soon.
It has 3MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera.

The Asus FonePad will go on sale from April 30 priced at Rs 15,990 , it will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Tab P310 which is priced similarly.
