Asus have launched a new tablet in India, and this time around, it is a Windows RT tablet. This Windows RT tablet was announced back in August at the IFA event. It has a 10.1 inch LED Backlight Super IPS+ screen running at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and it can recognise upto 10 touches at a time. It runs on a nVidia Tegra 3 processor, which is the same one found on devices such as the HTC One X and the Asus Nexus 7.

The Tablet also has a 8 MegaPixel rear camera with auto focus, and it features a rear LED flash also, and features 1080p recording also, and a front 2 MegaPixel camera as well.

Regarding the specifications, it has an internal 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, 3G, Wifi/Wifi Direct, has Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for your travel needs as well. It has quad speakers, and comes with a keyboard dock as well, which provides the tablet with additional battery life, and 2 USB ports (similar to the android asus pad fones).

It is priced very highly at Rs. 61,999 though, so in my personal opinion, this is not going to sell a lot here.

They have priced it just perfectly to sell units only in double digits if at all they make out of single digit sales. Asus is not a coveted brand and neither is Windows 8 such a desirable platform at this moment.

That's true. I wonder what ASUS is thinking while pricing tablet's like this in India. This is not the only one, you should see the price of the PadFone 2, too.
