Asus launches three new IPS monitors in Europe

Well-known Taiwanese company Asus has this week introduced in Europe three VS Series monitors - the 20-inch VS209H, 21.5-inch VS229H and 23-inch VS239H, which feature an LED backlight and make use of IPS (in-plane switching) panels with nice, wide (178/178 degrees) viewing angles.

The VS209H bears a recommended price tag of €139 and has a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, a 14ms (GTG) response time, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1, and a D-Sub input.

The VS229H and VS239H have similar specs, but they offer 1920 x 1080 pixels in terms of maximum resolution, and include D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors. The VS229H is selling for as low as €147, while the VS239H can be found at €165.
