ASUS/ Lenovo Laptops & others from Taiwan

Hi,

Another surprise. My Uncle is visiting Taiwan in Oct.
Wanting to buy ASUS or Lenovo laptops. ASUS is home to Taiwan rite?

Will they be cheaper to buy from there rather than USA. Even so If they are cheaper than Indian Prices its fine.

Where to buy them from?
Any other things that he should be careful.

Anything else cheaper in Taiwan.

ASUS in Taiwan carries 2 yr Global Warranty. Looking to buy ASUS/ Lenovo Laptops.
Also any other electronic items.

Get the ASUS G series or the Lenovo Z580 ..

Gaming beasts both.

Also I was stunned on seeing Thinkpad X1 Carbon. Looks sweet. waiting to hit the sweet $1k mark and I am going for it.
