Hey guys... Today we have with us the new king of Socket 1150 motherboards!. This is the Asus Maximus VI Extreme Motherboard and it features stuff never seen or given with a motherboard till now !!
So lets get on with the pictures and the Unboxing
We Get the Standard ROG packaging..
Asus lists out all the features and specs on the reverse side of the box.
And there it is.. The beast sleeps !!
Asus lists out some of its most Innovative technology and features that come standard with this board .
The list of accessories is simply enormous with this motherboard.. truly expansive set of additional bits. They even give you a magnetic ROG badge which you can see above the Wi-Fi antenna.
The 5.25 inch Bay adapter for the OC-Panel. A very nice touch this is !
This is the Wifi+ Bluetooth as well as M.2 NGFF SSD Mini Pci-e Combo Card. The Wireless adapter sits on the reverse side and also supports wireless the new .AC Standard for 1 Gigabit Wifi. Simply Awesome !!!
Here we can see the Wifi + Bluetooth Adapter and also note the .ac support !
Asus also gives us a Dual Band adjustable Antenna !
And there it is.. the Beast and his sidekick.. the OC-Panel
The OC-Panel is packed very well and feels extremely well built. Even the buttons on the OC-Panel have a very nice premium feel to them !
Here we can see the cable required to connect the OC-Panel to the Motherboard. One end plugs into the OC-Panel while the other smaller end plugs into the a special port on the motherboard .
The Oc-Panel in all its glory.. this thing is huge !!!!
Here we can see the screw mounting holes for attaching the OC-Panel to the 5.25 inch Bay adapter so that we can set it up for everyday use to monitor and control fan's/overclocks/voltages etc.
This shows us the extendible flip out stand on the back of the OC-Panel. This is for use on a desk while doing extreme overclocking !
And here is the Oc-Panel all propped up on the stand !
Here we can see the 2x inputs for K-type Thermo-couples to monitor sub zero temps !
Ohhhh.. Flippy screen... This is so that you can flip the screen and attach it to the 5.25 inch drive bay adapter.
Undo the top cover and look whats inside.. This is how we can tell this thing means Business !!!! We get Slow mode , Pause Mode , Hdd activity LED , 4x Fan inputs , VGA Hotwire controls , and a whole ton of other extreme overclocking stiff !!! Hats off .. this is true innovation right here people
