CPU/Mobo ASUS P5K-E Frontpanel connection

Guys , I need help ..

I recently moved to germany and since i had only 30 kgs to carry in my flight .. i decide to leave the chassis of my comp at home including the front panel with the connector and wiring ..

after comming here i realised i needed the front panel connector as i am not able to switch on the maching .. could you please guide me how do i start my comp .. basically .. which pin to be shorted with which pin .. to start the comp.

Just look up the manual pdf online. If you can't find it, the corner diagnally opposite to the CPU, there should be a buncha jumpers. Out of the 3-4 sets of jumpers one is probably the one with the hdd activity indicators-reset-power thing. Look closely and see if notice power/hdd/reset written there. The USB/Firewire ones will probably have USB/Firewire written, avoid them. IF you can figure this out, just start randomly shorting those pins(with a screw driver) and see which 2 start the comp. Thats what I did 2 days back when I change my comp case.

Download the manual and check it. It is shown clearly pictured, which is which connection.

Thanx guys .. i got it .. the second batch of pins on the first row starting from the edge of the mother board need to be shorted .. to kickstart the comp ..
