ASUS RT-N13U router problem

Hi Friends,
After doing lot of research I decided to go with the ASUS RT-N13U router. I bought the router and connected it yesterday with my BSNL (UT300R2U) modem. It was easy to setup and I could surf within 2 minutes. I could even surf WiFi on my iPod. It was on factory settings but still my phone Samsung Focus couldn't connect to WiFi so I tried to change the security WEP2 but still I couldn't connect it to my phone.

I'm getting loads of problems while surfing..

iMessage (iPod Touch) cannot send any message
AppStore (iPod Touch) takes long time to open
Samsung Focus cannot connect to WiFi
PC internet (LAN) takes long time to load websites
Sometime it works fine
While working fine suddenly the router restarts and takes long time to get stable.

These are the problems I'm facing with my new router. Any solution folks?
 
without N13U my internet works fine.

Now there is no long load timing problem but still after running for approx. 15mins+ the router restarts by itself :(

Folks please help! Should I flash the factory firmware again or contact Prime ABGB?
 
Mine wasn't powering up after 4 days of use. Got a replacement which is working fine for 4 months now.

BTW I have flashed ddwrt on it.

flash with 2.0.2.0 again. Maybe its currupted or something. Download a fresh one from site and flash. It takes only a minute.
 
sorry to bump your thread but i got a ut300r2u modem whose ethernet port goes to the wan port of my dd-wrt flashed rt-n13u b1 router and the lan1 from the router goes to the PC. n13u IP is 192.168.2.1 and modem IP is 192.168.1.1.

after flashing the wan ip shows in dd-wrt but after changing the wan settings from DHCP to PPoE and entering my ISPs username and password, and the DNS1 and DNS2 and save settings then the damn wan ip goes to 0.0.0.0

nothing works after that. ive tried everything. reflashing, hard reboot, 30/30/30 reboot. no luck. please help
 
I talked with their network support. That person told me to upgrade my firmware to the latest and I did according to him but still my router restarts.

Take it to ASUS in Sakinaka. He will check your router, if faulty, you will need to go to Rashi.

BTW Thank's Vivek for their support number. He said he'll call me and tell me where to give the router for RMA.
