rareravi.......dont get the socket 754 mobo..your processer wont get in it..it has 939 pins......better create a scence or ask for refund or go to consumer court......

and yup its better to get stuff frm a good dealer.......he will take the stuff and try to repair plus will give some mobo stuff dfor time beingso your time is not wasted

How does Gigabyte Fare in the Warranty & Replacement section ?? Better than Asus ?

Gigabyte service centre in bbay absolutely rocks, they give u a reply to you within 3 days abt the status of your motherboard and take 1 week max to fix it, unlike ASUS crap where u have to wait for 1 month to get ur mobo fixed :S , looks like someones gonna get a hurt real bad :no:

well right now i dont have any problem but i m ready to share all the hardship i faced..it was almost next to torture btw wht advice google u sharing????

Well when the MD is like so , what can be done about idiots like Vishal ?

Anyways Gulbhir MD Prime has been kind enough to do the co-ordination with him and he(Andrew) thinks our community is small, so what id like to do is everyone who HATES asus or isn't buying their products kindly drop me a pm with their email id.We need to show him how much of an impact this is having, basically make him aware of how much we can do so in the future just needs to be told we r from TE and things should get done faster.

We need to show him how much of an impact this community can have on their products.

I only buy asus, have around 25 dual core systems have had to replace 7-8 boards in the past and its taken them an average of 60 days to get problems resolved. I hate their support and think that Digicomp are probably the most illliterate bunch of engineers around. BUT, do we have a choice? which other company has a larger presence in India?

but that doesnt mean vision u shd support them for their wrong doin.......i seriously think if they see there name in media they will giv due respect to us......i sincerely think soul u shd talk to media.....

even on channeltimes their channel partner has raised this issue when u cant support the ppl why do u releaseso many products........itlooks likea dumping goin on...

@Magnet. I am NOT supporting Asus. Thats whay i have given my email to be included amongst users who are dissatisfied with Asus Service.
 
tooooo much talking is done, let the process of Consumer Court be started.

also, when you go to court, do add the point 'mental harassment' and 'education/business degradation' and 'money loss' in communication. (use PCO for phone to get the BILL and Cyber Cafe for internet bill)
 
hmmmm....i never knew the real ASUS service..was so bad,..

actually i have talked a dad's friend.who has contacts with dealers and distributors and was telling that they usually do such things to normal ppl ,but when u give it thru some one it done as soon as possible, and was telling that if someone wants to give it thru him ..he can get it done..as quick as ppossible...but not if it's already given ..to them..he also said..that NEVER EVER give it directly always give it thru the dealer\shop u ve got from...
 
ive gone thru the dealer itself bro, i contacted them directly to speed things up as suggested 2 me by the dealer

p.s. spread the word all i need is a name and email not even necessarily a te member
 
My Asus K8N had problems with the ram slots, gave it to rashi (pune).

I created a thread about this in TE, Darklord said it will take minimum 1 month to replace or repair. So went to mumbai the next day and bought a Msi K8MM-V. Had to complete a very important project so i had no other option but to buy a new mobo.

After 1 1/2 month got my asus board (repaired) back. Brought the mobo back to my home and kept it in a corner in my cupboard. I dont even want to check if its working or not. :@
 
vision..i m not telling u supporting them...

i was jus giving a point that we have suffered frm them...and when after all the tortures the work is done..we say now why waste time on that consumer court etc.......this is our attitude which need to change...sorry if my words meant something different.......sorry dude again

well they seemed to have bought the dhamkis and im gettin a brand new board today

MD Gulbhir from prime also helped alot escalate this matter . i have to just get the new board from the distri Rashi now , wouldhave got that yest but seems FRI they dont have power in Vasai.:@

anwyays so today i should be gettin my new mobo. will post back on more news
