Asus TAICHI - Convertable Laptop / Tablet With Dual 11.6"/13.3" Displays
Asus has unveiled TAICHI - a convertable notebook / tablet featuring dual displays .
The new model ,announced at Computex in Taipei , comes in two different sizes - 11.6 inch and 13.3 inch and packs dual displays .
While one screen faces you , other screen could be facing your colleagues or random people .
Asus says
"With a touch screen on the outside of the lid, the Taichi opens up a whole host of new mobile possibilities as it plays the role of both notebook and tablet"
"With the lid open, the Taichi is just like any notebook computer, and comes complete with a full-size QWERTY backlit keyboard and track pad. With the lid closed, however, the Taichi instantly becomes a multi-touch tablet computer with stylus support, bringing a degree of flexibility that has never before been experienced on an ordinary notebook."
The laptop is thin and light like the Zenbook line . The two screens can be used simultaneously and are independent of each other .
As far as configuration is concerned , the laptop packs Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor , SSD , full HD / Super IPS+ displays, Dual cameras , Dual band 802.11n Wi-Fi .
