ASUS TUF B650M PLUS WIFI - PC Not Booting With EXPO Enabled

I was in intel i7 4790k before and after long waiting for like 11 years upgraded my system to:

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Desktop Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Halo ARGB CPU Air Cooler
Asus TUF Gaming B650M Plus WIFI Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB 32GBx2 Kit F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR (Matte Black)

After I upgraded to this system and booted with windows 11 I noticed the RAM speed showing as 4800MT but it should be 6000, So I updated motherboard BIOS to latest version which is 3222...

Still 4800MT, then I read in some posts that I need to enable EXPO in order to get 6000MT, but whenever I enable EXPO/EXPO 2/EXPO Tweaked my system do not POST at all, I have to manually reset CMOS in order to get it booted with default 4800MT, what could be reason behind this?

I ran memtest86 4 times and no error found... What could be the problem?
I am using a SeaSonic 850W PSU and RTX 3060Ti as GPU....

you could try running just a single stick of RAM at the rated speed and see if it posts with EXPO enabled. If the system boots with just one stick but fails with both, it could point to a motherboard or RAM issue. You could also try different slots.

you can try setting ram timings manually , have you tried it?

fans, sometimes too many fans can make system unstable (it depends on mobo, but make sure ram is getting enough air)

i hope this is not the case of bad memory controller on cpu.
 
Either your motherboard or your CPU is preventing you hitting that clock speed, so its either failing to post or resorting to default settings. My guess is leaning towards the board.

See if your RAM is listed in this compatibility list for Ryzen CPUs: [Link]
Asus has a similar qualified vendor list, here's the link for your board: [Link]

Also consider whether you actually need the extra clock speed. The RAM will run hotter at higher speeds. If you won't be using memory performance sensitive tasks, you could overclock when needed and then back to normal for daily general use.

I just have 1 chassis fan
1 cpu fan
I didn't over tight the screw
whenever selecting EXPO even with single stick and diffrent slow the system not booting, I have to clear CMOS manually... :(

If I even overclock manually to 5600mhz system not booting at all with no display...
And it seems the memory not in asus link you provided, my RAM is 6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR
And there supported one are:

I have same timing but my one is Neo, TZ5NR...
AMD only support EXPO, XMP is intel technology, right? Or I am missing something?
Also in the Ryzen link could not find gskill on brand drop down...
Seems like 23k is on partial waste, could have gone for 4800MT RAM for cheaper price....
But i read somewhere that 6000MT sweet spot for AM4/AM5 so i purchased... :(

AMD and Intel might call it whatever they want but both are essentially the same thing. Still weird to see it like that though.

It seems like your PC is failing memory training and unable to run at the EXPO setting
Have you tried increasing the voltage to 1.45V (or even 1.5V, don't worry its safe). Another thing you can try is to set the command rate to 1 or 2 (do the opposite of what it is set at after you enable EXPO and select the EXPO config OR TRY BOTH at one a time). T2 is more stable whereas T1 provides more performance.

I have no idea about this, in previous Intel mobo I just selected XMP and it auto runned at XMP speed....
can you provide me a guide on that please?
 
Guide to increase RAM voltage or change command rate? I don't think there's a guide just for them. You will most likely find Overclocking guide for DDR5 RAM which might include these settings but you can do it yourself as well.
It seems like I can not find command rate setting in the bios of your motherboard looking at this video here
Maybe you can instead follow what settings the person is recommending and see if that works.

Those last two letters are for just colours of sticks.
RS = silver white
NR = BLACK/MATTE BLACK.

So your sticks are correct.
( And most of time it doesn't matter if they are on qvl or not )

( There are frauds with ram sticks n CPUs where wrong/false sticker n box are used to hike up the price )
 
Did you wait for memory training to complete? Sometimes it takes very long time for memory training to be done.

Can suggest a few options:
Wait for upto 10 mins to see if it boots.
In bios enable expo with memory context restore

I waited like 30 minutes but no display came, after enabled EXPO or 6000MHz...
Is there a way to ensure my motherboard and cpu is ok as it is brand new....

no i purchased this pc parts from computechstore.in, I called them regarding this... but seems there support team is not active enough....

I again enabled expo and waiting like 10 minutes
First the dram was orange
Now boot is in green for qled
But no display on monitor
What should i do?

I had similar issues when I had my AM4 system built. 2 years and 3 RMAs later, they decided the CPU was at fault. But the debugging was taken care by my Systems Integrator, so I know only half the story. They hated 5600X so much that they went Intel only for sometime for their next builds.

that means, it has issues with booting (bios)..........
soln - probably to reset bios via removing button cell, u know the usual drill. when everything works all LED go OFF (generally, unless one sets them for other things)

AMD EXPO Memory issue Suddenly After 7months usage

Alright TPU gang I'll get straight to the point. I'm having trouble running my RAM (G-Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB 6000Mhz CL32 Kit) at it's advertised speed all of a sudden after 7months of use without issues, only long boot times since AMD 7000 series/Memory training. Now I can get it running...

try bios rollback to older versions.
 
Can you try the following and confirm if you still face the issue?
Expo On
Uclk div1 mode = mclk/2
Dram voltage = 1.25 volts (optional)
Set iGPU = enabled (and connect monitor to IGPU only)
