I think it's aimed at the kind of gamers who would buy Alienware desktops *cough* noobs *cough*. Anyway the price tag is just crazy -

Asus Republic of Gamers CG8565 si already available for pre-order in Poland where it's listed at 13,957 Polish Zloty, including VAT. This translates into $3584 US or €2,629 Euro, after VAT is taken out of the equation.
