Asus has unveiled its next generation phone-tablet hybrid - PadFone Infinity.

Just like most flagship smartphones, the PadFone infinity packs top notch specifications. It has 5 inch 1080p display and Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor and runs latest Android 4.2 OS.

It has 2GB of RAM, 32GB / 64GB internal storage and 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 5-element lens. It also has 100Mbps LTE and 42Mbps HSPA+ connectivity along with latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The phone has 2400mAh battery promising talk time up to 19 hours on 3G.

Coming to the tablet dock called "Infinity Station", it has 10.1 inch display with 1920x1200 resolution along with its own battery having 5000mAh capacity which can recharge the phone up to three times. It also houses a 1MP front camera and uses same 13MP camera of the phone.

The specs are certainly mind blowing, but it wont be cheap. It will cost 999 Euro along with the tablet dock. It will be available from April in UK .

So once it lands in India which will probably be few months later we should expect a price of close to Rs 1 lakh ( considering original PadFone priced at 700 Euro was priced at Rs 65k here.
