If it was impulse buy, you could have refused delivery. No?
Buyers remorse didn't set in until I saw that a. It doesn't support usb pd, just the barrel jack and b. HDR doesn't work unless it's plugged in. One of the reasons for buying this was media consumption when I'm away from home/want to laze around on bed.

Are you sure that HDR doesn't work unless plugged in? I think you gotta change the performance mode or something because I have a brand new Zenbook 14 OLED (Ryzen 7730U) and used HDR last night on battery.

Damn, thanks that worked, had to change "Battery Options" to "Optimise for image quality", can turn on HDR on battery now. Will have to rethink about selling the laptop off now.

Hehe, don't forget to download the Microsoft/Windows HDR Calibration software and set the correct max brightness. If you don't do that, HDR highlights look very very blown out at 70-100% brightness levels.

HDR calibration doesn't even work if the brightness is above 70% ish, everything is too bright, and can't see the grids at all.

Anyways, taking this off sale, really liking the laptop for HDR playback, and I'll either live with the power cable or buy a PD converter.

@puns please lock this thread, thanks.
