portabilty just like any other 15.6" lapyy.

battrey in most brightest screen 3 hrs max

no gaming,, strictly. intel 2000 hd is not meant for any gaming

office , development good, photoshop cant comment

ram is very less, 2 gb ddr3 1066, another 2 gb stick will do good

this is a sub 20k notebook. for higher budget do consider any snb i series processor lappy
 
Will install MSOffice and Photoshop today, and NFS mostwanted tomorrow :D

Battery is a easy 3hrs! (at medium settings)

portability: hmm....i would say it feels a little on the heavier side....seriously...

btw: USB booting is a godsend! love it!
 
installed NFS MW, photoshop, and MSoffice.......its a breeeeeze!!

Next challenge adobe premier pro CS.....lets see if it can handle it :D

Lol... That is quite old:) Now I have 7 2TB HDD's and a total of around 20TB:)

added a lot of gamepads in my collection.

BTW: did u upgrade ur RAM? I upgraded the RAM to 6GB and planning to USE MAC OSX and win7 64BIT.

Newer games like SSF4AE (2011) runs ultra smooth.

The battery backup low though...around 90-120 mins I think

adobe premier pro CS4 installed!

loaded a few old project files....no freezing whatsoever, although dint check rendering times and all..

but to conclude i think this is good enuff ! :D
 
thanks to this thread it helped me in deciding my first laptop and even i got a good deal got this laptop for 20490(laptop+belkin bag+mcafee 2011) and free western digital 500gb portable.:)

Samsung NP300E5Z-A01IN is best i think, with Anti Glare display(non-glossy)

reasonable price good config. 2GB DDR3, 500GB Samsung HDD with 100MBps speed
 
So all the people who've bought this...happy witht he performance?
I am looking for the cheapest laptop to do some office work and playing games like CS, COD, FIFA & NFS. Will this laptop suffice?
And how to get the W7 installed in cheapest way possible?

Does it have a USB 3.0 port?

@rakeshmarar: U can go for X43U also comes around 17k, it does all my little little things, the Processor is not that powerful though but u can play Fifa without any problem as its play League of Legends properly :) Photoshop also fine as am using it sometimes...
