ASUS ZenFone 2 goes on sale in China. 4GB version for $338

Asus had announced the company’s new ZenFone 2 line of devices back at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January. This Taiwanese company achieved to impress a lot of people at the show, chiefly because the flagship device in that series features 4GB of RAM and a sub-$300 price in Taiwan.

Asus has launched three ZenFone 2 models for the Chinese market, including the 4GB version of the device in two storage options. We’ll start with the beefiest one. The ZenFone 2 features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. Intel’s Atom Z3580 quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz is powering this device, and you also get a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel one on the front. This device will be available in two storage options, the 32GB and 64GB variants.

The other variant that Asus decided to launch in China, is the entry-level model of the new ZenFone 2 line. This handset features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, just like the top model, but it comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This handset is powered by Intel’s Z3560 SoC, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. This handset is more affordable than the top of the line models.

All of these devices support 4G LTE connectivity and will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed, with the new version of Asus’ ZenUI.

As of now, the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant is available at $338.42 while the 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variant is on pre-order for $252.66 at a China-based online store Gearbest, provided you use the coupon code ASUSZ2 while checking out with the following links:
