Performance seems to be acceptable,but nothing spectacular about it
..only the pricing seems to be attractive..

I would only like to say that according to the benchmark results, Athlon 64 X2 3800+ appeared a faster processor than its competitor from Intel, the Pentium D 830. So, it looks like this new AMD solution has pretty promising future ahead. Especially, if we take into account the compatibility of dual-core AMD processors with the existing infrastructure, their low heat dissipation, Cool’n’Quiet technology support and the ability to switch to 64-bit operating systems and corresponding applications."
