Graphic Cards ATI 4850 512MB or 1GB?

Hi!

I am planning on buying a ATI HD4850 graphic card. I know looking through all reviews of this card that there is hardly any difference between the 512-1GB version.

My main reason for looking at the 1GB version though, is that will it make any difference in games such as GTA 4 which require a lot of video memory.

Please share your opinions, especially those who have this card and how well it performs in GTA 4.

1gb version will be good not only for gta & for any other games as well GTA 4 use much cpu also you can check out youtube for more.

last time i checked out at NP it`s price is somewhere around 7000.
 
If you are gonna play games at higher resolutions, 1GB is very useful, else go for the 512MB one. A 1GB won't give you a significant increase in fps over a 512MB though. ;)

Better think of a bettr chipset to spend the extra dough :)
