Ok.Still waiting for more answers

Dont worry mate, it'll run fine. I'm running my 4890 w/ a E8400 on VX450, both have been OC'ed.

Thanks for clearing my mind guys. Now iam going with ATI HD 4890.Can u guys tell which version or which brand is better(I wont OC myself so a branded OC is better).

Do 4890 have lower power consumption than HD 4870 rite?

Hello,

I have VX450 PSU connected to an APC 500 ups. (which will handle max 350 watts).

I am planning to connect a Asus HD 4770 GPC to my system.

Other devises alrady connected is Dell 24" Ultrasharp monitor. (will take 40watts), two seagate internal HDDs, 2 DVD RWs(internal).

Can I use this configuration? or when mains power off, will my UPS 'explode" ?

For ATI, Sapphire is the best. :)

Why would you make a blanket statement like this?

Based on what did you draw the conclusion?

See my config, I am also running on a APC 500VA and my monitor is 15" CRT (65W). No problem yet. Buy if you have money, get a 650VA to be safe. That 500VA APC also has a good resale value. :)
