Graphic Cards ATI 5770 is not showing my monitors native resolution

Hi frnds
i have bought an ATI HD 5770 last week
and i have a Samsung 2033sw already
it is said that its native resolution is (1600x900)
before this card i used on board graphics with resolution (~1340x768)
even with this card iam unable to see any resolution greater than that in windows screen resolution.
is there any thing i need to do with the settings??

how to get this resolution in windows settings??

plz help me with this guys
 
Don't exactly get what your saying ?

You want to use 1600x900 but you get 130x768 ? Or you're not allowed to lower resolution to 1360x768?

In any case first things first.

Install & Update Drivers .

What max resolution is the OS letting you set...? Also install the drivers for your monitor, and the latest CCC.
 
Did you accidentally install windows generic drivers too by mistake?

What does it show under Device Manager-->Display Adapters
