PC Peripherals ATI or NVIDIA

Ok. i need to buy a GPU for my workstation .. and mostly i will be getting it from US... so i need to know whats the best buy for money,,

which chipset is better than other... should i go for ATI or nvidia...



once i decide the chipset then i can decide the card.....

some say ATI is much better than nvidia.... please let me know why is it better... what are the pros and cons of both...... please give me ur detail thoughts and experiance..

ATI's image quality, shader performance, AA & AF, chipset, stock cooler & many more things absolutely rocks.

NVIDIA = only speed no quality.

Depends on what sort of work you intend to do. For gaming, its ATI all the way right now. For DCC, get a quadro.

me needs to do 3dsmax... need smotth viewports with 2 million polys ..... plus gaming in mind.... like q4 ..

Then get a quadro fx 4500 or something like that. Be ready to spend in excess of 1000$ .
