not elaborate...also not sure if the XT will be priced as low as GTS...

generally XTX doesnt exactly tonk XT in the AMD/ATI stable, so I guess XTX will only be marginally faster than GTX...

not conclusive...

in the title you have written ANANDTECH....which is a good site....and the link you are posting DAILYTECH which I have never heard off.....also I think the benchmarks are fake.....

^^ yeah that's true - check out anandtech - they have a column for dailytech too (lower right side for news) - DT is a good IT news site just like Inq

Unbelievable performance difference when compared to the GTS for Half Life 2!!!

Hmm, seems like a good card. I expect 8800 GTS prices to drop if Nvidia wants to stay in the game. :)

Cant believe how badly the Quadro gets beaten in the Workstation benchmarks... Way to go ATI... HD2900 completely rocks!! Brilliant performance in games as well!!

Now now...the price has to be similar to the 8800gts to make it any meaningful, otherwise this card will be priced comparable to the gtx while the xtx will go off the price charts :/

all is good if ATI manages to couple its cards with decent drivers with no performance issues with particular games

Held back buy the CPU, me thinks.

2.66 Ghz is nothing :P.

Cant wait for the 65nm revisions!

Prices are gonna be around 400$ for the XT and 500$ for the XTX.

AMD promises to bring the price of graphics cards back down to earth.

If it is associated with anandtech then why the benchmarks are not on the main site as this must be hot cake news for everyone to share.....why put it on a unpopular site.......

Dailytech is their News and Rumours Site.

Anandtech = Reviews/Previews/Articles/Discussion Site.

Simple as that.

Its not on the main site(anandtech) coz they have signed an NDA (non-Disclosure agreement) with AMD whereas dailytech has just heard it from somewhere else and made the benchmark results public... and since these are two different places, one NDA doesnt apply to the other company!

Prices are gonna be around 400$ for the XT and 500$ for the XTX.
AMD promises to bring the price of graphics cards back down to earth.

That's really reasonable!I think the time has come when AMD-ATI start to take the reigns though we are still kinda in the dark about AMD's latest CPUs other than them boasting 50% more performance and all.
