ATnT offers 768kbps for $10 in US

I think yahoo with SBC Ameritech had a 2mbps plan for $12.99/month long time back. I would happily pay $3 more for 2mbps :)

But sad that we can just talk about these :(

The point is not that these guys can get freaking 5-6Mbps for $40

Its that, that this is the cheapest out there, this is there lowest end plan if you will....and damn cheap at that...
 
Thats what is the thing dude. The $13 offer I posted above is less than half of what I am paying for 256kbps UL to UnfairTel

In 2002 I used to pay $35/m for 1mpbs comcast plan i.e ~1600/m @45/dollar. Now I pay around 1200 for 256kbps i.e ~$30/m @ 41/dollar now.
 
And can any1 in the world tell me what are we gonna do with a 10Mbps connection, if we are caught downloading pirated stuff or we need to pay for all the licensed software??

I know you can always download every linux distro in the world with that much speeds... but what about the noob humans!!??

10mbps theek hai re.. agreed we'll get bored with it, theres a limit to downloading man atleast for the avg guy.. but 2-3mbps atleast?

lol my buddy in sweden's got 100/100mbit. at home. he doesn't get bored of downloading HD porn.
 
Its gonna be a long time before we get good plans here officially . i guess there is no choice as of now , so no point cribbing .
 
as the idiom goes "work expands to fill the available time" so does data....it expands to the bandwidth available.
