First of all, let me make myself safe- no X230 here so dunno- ATP3 guy!!
hyeah:
'Then again, ATP3 has master volume+on/off, Bass and
TREBLE adjust knob too on the right pod itself- once set up, all controls within arm's reach.
I think the loggy has only on/off and master volume on one pod and a subwoofer volume knob at the back of the sub- "AAHH, my back"
!!'
A pal mentioned he thought the MX had less bass- poor chap was used to an ATP3 before he went MX5021!!
Then again, Chaos used to use his MX at lowest bass setting!!:O
So maybe my friend got so used to the overwhelming bass of the ATP3 that maybe he was almost repenting his decision to go MX from ATP3 - yes, it is a bit overwhelming unless set right.
As for me, i needed something with extra punch just for the trance tracks and movies and ATP3 doesnt disappoint.
Movies are much more fun with the sub kicking in and my audio system to which i had plugged my PC to must be thanking me for sparing it of the torture inflicted by Bass heavy trance tracks.:ashamed:
Another friend got the Loggy X530- he thinks it rocks- havent heard it- but he has a decent ear for sound too- though he prefers a lil more bass than i am comfortable with.
The loggy X230 units look quite similar- so they shouldnt be so bad.
Only way out- try and listen to your fave tracks on both and then decide.:ashamed:
