Is the speaker taken from inside tv set?

Didn't you already open a thread regarding how to connect fans to your cabby some time back?

No this speaker is taken out of HP d330 PC cabinet.

Yes I had opened a thread earlier but the earlier fan and this fan is different. That fan was having some pins to attach whereas these have 3 holes to attach, may be somewhere on the mobo. But I am not confirm of the same as where to attach this fan. But just to tell you that either I was not able to install the earlier fan or it was faulty.

Earlier fan was this:

Thats a Delta and NMB fan. Both are good.

Check your motherboard manual for the maximum amp rating supported by the motherboard fan headers. If your fan Amp rating fall within those values, you can use it. This is what a motherboard fan header looks like - http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Zerotherm/Nirvana120Premium/images/znirvana120p30.jpg . You might have 1 or 2 more in addition to your CPU fan header.

If the fan Amp ratings are higher, get a 3 pin to 4 pin molex convertor and connect it to a molex connector.

You cant directly plugin a speaker like that. Your soundcard's outputs are line level, not speaker level.

The HP system would have had a small amplifier IC to power the speaker.
