CARS24 Acquires Team-BHP to Drive Community-Led Auto Decisions | Entrepreneur
The move aims to create a stronger, community-driven ecosystem to help users make smarter decisions when buying, selling, or owning vehicles.

I think so. It's likely for better funding, more ad revenue, and a platform overhaul? Will the forum continue or not?
I hope so. I managed to get in on my first try 6 years ago. Not that such difficulty is warranted.I've never attempted to become a member of tbhp, but I keep reading their detailed reviews every once in a while. Hope the unbiased detailed reviews continue even after this acquisition.
Becoming a member might become easier maybe?
But let’s be honest, why would Cars24 care about "preservation" and "progress" unless there was something in it for them?“Our investment in Team-BHP is not about control. It’s about preservation and progress.
• Preserving the standards they've upheld for over 20 years.
• Progressing the tools and reach they'll need for the next 20.”
attention is everythingCars24 says:

I was really surprised when I heard this and I immediately went over to TBHP to see what members had to say about it. To my utter surprise, there was absolutely NO talk about it. It's not possible that other members did not have a whiff of it or did not want to engage in any conversation related to it, but it seems like there was some kind of clamp down by the mods on the discussion.
Even the announcement post by the mod has been closed to replies. All of this points to the mods being cognizant of how unpopular the move would be amongst the members.
Everything aside, who made bank from the move? The owners.
Also look at how poorly they've tried to sell the move to the members -Exact same thing I observed. Saw the news on twitter and went to TBHP and saw absolutely nothing about it. Was very surprised.
Android & iOS apps, a modern homepage is now cutting-edge! Hilarious. There wasn't anything stopping them from implementing these in the first place. The owners are anyway rich folks with deep pockets, if they wanted, they could've easily brought out a web app even. But no, they needed Cars24 to come in and for Mahindra to launch the BE6 to remind them that they need to keep up with the times. Smh.Just like how the mainstream cars of today boast cutting-edge technology (for instance, the new BE 6 & XEV 9e), Team-BHP also needs major advancements in tech.... Android & iOS Apps, a modern homepage, video reviews (finally!) to supplement our benchmark text + photo reviews and more (wait & watch)![]()
100% trueMost of the people in charge were rarely every nice. Most had holier than thou attitudes. And many frequently resorted to ad hominem attacks.
and god forbid you criticised Mahindra lol,Most of the people in charge were rarely every nice. Most had holier than thou attitudes. And many frequently resorted to ad hominem attacks.
Did you try creating one?Team-BHP Mods are deleting any threads where members try to discuss this. In fact even the Spinny acquiring Autocar India thread was deleted lol.
its never been unbiased, maybe when it was just starting out but definitely not in the last decade.I used to tag my vehicles with the over priced stickers and keychains because in my opinion, I was supporting an unbiased forum. Turns out, that's not the case.
