I too have these wired issues.
But in my case, it shuts as soon as I start the kaspersky scan and the proccy is dead hot.

@op are located in Tamil nada, I thought of low power supply.

Today after pushing the start button the lights blinked and turned off.this happened 5-6 times after 5-6 tries the system booted. But again after 10 mins shutdown

This does not seem like an OS problem. Right now my suspicion is on the PSU. You should mention your PC specs so that I can be of further help..

After years i am facing such abrupt problem.:(

From yesterday i am testing.Sometimes it functions normally i mean it dosent shuts down or restart. But if you turn off the system you are bound to face this thing until your system becomes stable again in 5-6 tries.:(

You should be thankful that power supply lasted on you this long without causing issues. If you weren't aware, VIP/Powersafe power supplies are infamous for causing hardware failures and capacitor bulging. Take a hint from one of the Powersafe supplies here.

It most likely is the power supply. You said your temps are fine so that rules out the other probable cause. Remove the graphics card and check on an el cheapo PSU if you have one lying around. Otherwise just try booting up without the card on this power supply. Removing the card should bring down power usage and MAY help you to narrow down the problem.#gREen in your case it's most likely the processor overheating. When you start scanning for viruses, the cpu usage goes up which causes the processor to overheat and the overheat protection kicks in, shutting down the system.

Alright guys tested. It seems the smps has broken completely.even after removing the gpu same problem was there.therefore i tried with another smps and faced no such problem.
