My 4 year old maruti swift has started showing signs of age and hence i was looking for a new vehicle by this diwali . This time i was planning for a sedan which would be my first one . With a budget of 10 lackhs the new Hyundai verna fludic diesel seemed the perfect choice . Yesterday i went to hyundai showroom to check on the verna and was extremely stunned to find out the waiting period for it is 8-10 months :O:O
The sales representive didnt even show any shame mentioning this info ! By the way i checked in Sharayu motors showroom in navi mumbai . How can one wait for such a long perioud . I wanted to know if this holds true throughout india and what are the options for me . Can i get it from somewhere else .
 
Provide your requirements for your first Sedan. I believe there are many others cars that will fit your budget. Also AFAIK Verna does not have such a long waiting time anyways.
 
4 yrs is not that big a time for a car to be replaced. Personal opinion.. maruti car serves you pretty decent if you ve taken good care of it.

Secondly, why should the manager be ashamed while mentioning the waiting period ???

You rather would pay the booking amount and be told this bit after your third visit ? I dont think you heard or read about the waiting period for etios earlier.
 
Well there is a large waiting period for verna and at Sharayu motors it is more than other details. My personal advice will be avoid Sharayu Motors, especially never deal with a rep named " Auragazeb". Contact some other Hyundai dealer, you may be in for a surprise.
 
Ok so should i avoid sharayu . Can anyone mentioned other hyundai dealers and any problems or price hike if i purchase it frm outside navi mumbai .

Also as for the 4 year old swift , thats actually my dads car . I would be purchasing the sedan myself . I was looking for verna since it was best for my budget ie around 9-10.5 with around 70% loan .
 
^^ Will do , BTW first i am thinking of using some political connection at sharayu . Lets see what happens then .
