Things missing

a. Hacked files
Since I had to work on this release by myself, I decided not to include any hacked files. This means you will not find any uxtheme or tcpip fix. Of course, modules can be done for those later.
b. Messenger Plus!
After numerous posts regarding Microsoft's Anti-Spam finding spyware in the Messenger Plus! setup file, I decided it would be better to remove Messenger Plus! from AutoPatcher. Sorry.

My experience with this software...

The download from the above link was slow - max I could get was about 9KB/s as against 32KB/s my cable conx is capable of so it took about 3 hours to download the file. After the download AVG free found a Trojan in the file and without asking me anything it locked the file !!! I could not get it to open no matter what I tried - I checked on the forums and found that AVG free has a bug in it that finds this non existent Trojan in this file - AVG also found the same Trojan in XPAntiSpy.

I uninstalled AVG and downloaded the file again and checked it for any Virus/Trojan with my regular programs and there were non.

I installed the updates from Autopatcher after which I started getting system lock ups when I was browsing the forums and pages opened very slow. Yesterday I restored a backup image I had made prior to running Autopatcher and all is fine again.

So I suppose I will have live without these updates / patches. :(

@Eazy
sorry to hear that m8 :huh:

@Others
please do a thorough checking for any virus, trozans, spyware etc. etc. before installing the program. :cool2:

Found this in one of the links you just posted.

I had downloded AVG on the same day as Autopatcher so I must have the latest version and it still found the Trojan - and I had run the AVG update too. :(
