Anyone here know of any delaer for Hauppauge or AverMedia products.

I am looking for
Hauppauge HVR 2200 MCE Dual Hybrid PCI Express Card With Hardware Encoding
Hauppauge WinTV HVR 1700
OR
AVerTV Duo Hybrid PCI-E II

I have spoken to AverMedia and Hauppauge dealer Access Infoworld and they dont have these products.
None of the online shopping sites have it.(ebay, techshop, itdepot)

Please let me know from where can I buy one of these cards.

U can ask Phoenix if he has the Avermedia Card.
As for the Hauppage, it won't be available in India, i guess.

@gbee u talking bout the Winfast px DVR 3200H....?????
Yeah the after sale support is gunna be good as RP tech handles it.
But the real question here is that will this card serve my purpose.

Now we are getting DVB-S2 MPEG-4 technology coming up.....and this card aint DVB-S....its DVB-T.....
but the hardware Mpeg encoding chips on it make it a good card overall.

Then again...if i'm spending for a high-end card....then why not spend it to buy a AVerTV Satellite Trinity(A707)
AVerMedia AVerTV Global - AVerTV TV Tuners and Multimedia Products - AVerTV Satellite Trinity
which is future ready with HD recording options and DVB-S, ProgDVB and Windows 7 compatibility. Plus this is a Dual Tuner.

This ensures that I do not have to buy another card for at least 2 more years. Unlike the Hauppauge, which is just like 3 months old and I have to discard it. Of course once I get my hands on one of these. Trinity hopefully.

But I think I might have to settle for the Winfast as i trust Rashi Peripherals.
And Tirupati Enterprise, distributor of Aver doesnt have the model I want. Though they are trustworthy too.

It's really confusing   ....help me out guys.

Rashi peripherals dosn't distribute Winfast TV tuners.
its Computers Infinite at Nehru Place.
but i heard about their aftersale support. its is very impressive.

they nationally distribute Leadtek Quadro, Leadtek Winfast Graphic cards and TV tuners.

choice is yours

@bigbyte i have visited that page......the problem is none of them have the Trinity......
Tirupati usually orders products if someone asks for it......but now it doesnt seem the way....others just say that it is unavailable...period.
Luckily I have contacted AverMedia directly and they will be dispatching the product to Tirupati soon.
I have bought TAGAN PSU's and Corsair memory DIMM's from them before.....and i trust them.

Whereas the Leadtek card is concerned I contacted them too and they said this
Dear customer!
Thanks for your contact.

Unfortunately, it can’t support to DVB-S.

The maximum input of component is 480i.

Unfortunately, we haven’t announced the driver or application that compatible with Windows 7.

We will try to develop the driver and application ASAP.

Before that, you can try to use the driver for Vista to install.

Sorry for your inconvenience.
Thank you.

Best regards.

Leadtek Service, PCBU, Leadtek Research Inc.
And the AverMedia Trinity is Windows 7 compatible and is HD too

AVerMedia - Windows 7

AVerMedia AVerTV Global - AVerTV TV Tuners and Multimedia Products - AVerTV Satellite Trinity
Thanx everyone for your help. :hap2:
